Goodbye Lighting Facts

EdisonReport received the following email today announcing that the lighting facts program will be shutting down its website on March 30, 2018.

LED Lighting Facts: A Program of the U.S. DOE

Dear Manufacturer and Testing Lab Partners:

LED Lighting Facts has played a pivotal role in the evolution and development of SSL technology and products.  What began as a focus on verification of LED product performance claims in a fledgling market ten years
ago has grown into a data-rich product database with user-centric analytical tools to gauge the range of performance and product innovation over time. Unfortunately, due to continued federal budget and funding uncertainty, DOE will no longer be able to support
the program.

Consequently, the LED Lighting Facts program will no longer accept product submissions after March 1, and the website will be shut down on March 30th.
After the March 1 submission deadline, you will continue to have access your account until the final website closure to download your labels and product lists. In order to download your LED Lighting Facts Label: log into your account, navigate to your Manage
my Products page, click on the product you need a label for, and then click the “Generate Labels” button on the top of the submission form.

If you have any questions or need any assistance with submitting a product or attaining your labels, please email us at
[email protected]

Thank you to everyone who participated in this program!
