This position is responsible for managing assigned distributor accounts within our Trade Division.  This role is the primary contact for assigned accounts.  This individual will manage daily account activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Maintain and grow existing business as well as develop new business through distributor network
• Identify and sell new distributor accounts
• Train distributor sales personnel to sell Sylvania products.
• Develop and execute sales plans
• Work independently and with distributor sales personnel to sell lighting products to industrial/commercial end users & contractors
• Attend trade shows, sales meetings, and other LEDVANCE events as needed.

What we look for

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years related sales experience, preferably selling to and through distribution
• Bachelor of Science Degree, preferably Business or Marketing Major
• Lighting and/or electrical industry experience a plus
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Requires excellent presentation/public speaking, time management and organizational skills
• Requires proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word applications

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Work from a home-based office ideally located in Orange County, CA. Occasional overnight travel to attend meetings
