New space will triple capacity and offer a state-of-the-art showroom
(ANAHEIM, CA – April 17, 2014) – Intense Lighting, Inc. a leading manufacturer of award-winning LED specification-grade lighting solutions announced today that it is moving its corporate headquarters and entire manufacturing facilities to a larger location in Southern California on May 17, 2014. Designed with service in mind, the move will triple inventory capacity and provide space for a much-anticipated forward thinking product showroom combined with a technology and education center to demonstrate controls and LED capabilities.
Intense Lighting, which currently employs 170 employees, recognized the need to increase its manufacturing capacity and create space for further expansion in every area of the business. The new 155,000 square-foot facility will allow the company to provide more competitive production lead times and even faster product delivery—something Intense Lighting is already known for throughout the lighting industry.
According to Kenny Eidsvold, Intense Lighting President, the new 35,000 square-foot state-of-the-art production area is three times larger than the current production floor. The new highly flexible production area will include state-of-the art equipment including conveyor lines and work cells, making it capable of assembling a diverse range of fixtures quickly. The implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes will reduce lead times and improve quality, to insure our customers’ satisfaction. Intense will continue to maintain the best lead times in the industry while experiencing aggressive growth.
