OEM Regional Sales Manager, Eastern US

SCOPE OF POSITION

Responsible for developing and executing the sales plan for the assigned territory, which includes the eastern United States. 

SPECIFIC DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Effectively manage diverse relationships with OEM clients (purchasing, engineering, product management, quality, manufacturing, executive management)
  • Identify and close new sales opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal team to develop new products
  • Provide timely communication of key sales activities and client needs
  • Create and execute compelling proposals that result in sales growth  
  • Approximately 50% business travel

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field of study
  • 5+ years of sales or engineering experience in lighting, electrical, or electronics
  • Prior experience in technical sales or applications support preferred
