Assistant editors for designing lighting (dl) and Lighting Management & Maintenance (LM&M) magazines are appointed.
Brentwood, TN, November 2, 2022 – EdisonReport, the leading source of news and information for the lighting industry, promotes Jacob Wright and Parker Allen as assistant editors to support the growth of its media platforms.
Jacob Wright is promoted to Assistant Editor of designing lighting (dl) magazine. Wright joined EdisonReport in the role of tech support and operations assistant in 2018. Since dl’s launch in 2020, Wright has primarily served as a writer and proofreader, and as manager of the dl website. Wright has worked closely with Editor Randy Reid to obtain the knowledge and experience necessary to take on the role of Assistant Editor.

Parker Allen is promoted to Assistant Editor of Lighting Management & Maintenance (LM&M) magazine. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Allen spent several years at Vanderbilt University researching the influence of genetics on aging. Looking for a career change, he joined EdisonReport in December 2021. Allen serves as a content editor for dl and LM&M. He has also written for both magazines and is a regular content contributor to designing lighting (dl).
