ST. PAUL, MN, February 20, 2023 – MetroSpec Technology® , the leading American manufacturer of custom LED light sources, announces FlexRad 2Tone® and Dim2Tone® are now available incorporating Nichia’s 1800K technology. MetroSpec now supports tone control in ranges from 1800K through 6500K.
Dim2Tone is a flexible LED light engine that dims and changes color tone, enabling smooth color transition through blending. A simple single channel dimming switch is all that is needed to blend two colors and achieve the desired light level and tone.
2Tone is used for static, adjustable, or dynamically changing color in the same fixture housing. Power may be applied for a two channel source enabling full dynamic range. 2Tone provides full color transition capability and a simple method to dial in any color temperature.
“Dim2Tone and 2Tone are a natural fit for architectural, aesthetic commercial, hospitality, entertainment, and healthcare applications. Product offerings can be easily enhanced without major changes to fixture designs, providing new options in a competitive and high demand marketplace.
