Job Description:
Khatod North America, is actively searching for a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to direct sales and marketing activities for their territory. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years’ experience in sales with preferably 2 years in a related LED lighting optical field. Khatod North America values its employees offering competitive compensation packages including full health and dental insurance benefits, 401K match, PTO and a base salary between 100k-130k plus commission/bonus.
In this role you will:
- Work closely with high profile customers such as Product Designers, Electronic and OpticalEngineers, and other related manufacturers professionals.
- Analyze, review and create business strategies to increase sales for the current Khatod N.A. sales contacts as well as new possible contacts for Khatod N.A. LLC.
- Manage inside and outside sales team for Khatod North America and work with operations tosuccessfully achieve sales budgets and quotas to grow profitable sales in the North America Territories (USA and Canada).
- Travel through out the USA and Canada as necessary, to meet with key customers and create newbusiness opportunities.
- Interact in person or virtually with all stakeholders as travel conditions apply.
- Interact with Khatod HQ located in Milan, Italy to align sales strategies and have latest in depthproduct knowledge.
- Collaborate closely with the rest of the Khatod team to ensure “premier” customer experience.
- Attend product shows, locally sponsored events, and larger national trade shows.
- Train the sales team as well as outside representative organizations/agencies on Khatod N.A.product lines and any other products sold but not directly manufactured by Khatod N.A.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in a leading sales role and 2+ years in a related industry tooptoelectronics.
- Good people management skills
- High level of energy, competitiveness, and willingness to succeed as a self-starter
- Able to build relationships with clients base
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills related to technical products
- Ability to work with the HQ team and work in person as well as remotely to manage all sales roles and responsibilities
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, motivational, and organizational skills
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in prior positions
- Able of creating annual company operating budget and participating in quarterly reviews ofcompany profit and loss (P&L), with upper management.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Attend corporate meetings at Khatod N.A. headquarters or designated destination as requested by management
