St. Charles IL September 16th,2019 — The Bukas Lighting Group, owner of FC Lighting, Solid State Luminaires (SSL), Hazloc Industries and Paramount Lighting is pleased to make the following organizational announcements.
Glenn Garbowicz Appointed as COO
Glenn Garbowicz, President of Hazloc Industries and Paramount Lighting assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer for the Bukas Lighting Group. Bruce Bukas, CEO, commented “We are presently undergoing a major transformation within our organization due to both organic growth and the integration of our recent acquisition, Paramount Lighting, completed earlier this year. We expect to make 1-2 more acquisitions in 2020 and are building out the leadership team to support that strategic initiative”.
Glenn has a 25+ year career in lighting with tenures at Hubbell Lighting as VP/GM of the Lighting Components and Controls Group, President of Thomas Research Products, and President of Venture Lighting Power Systems.
Bruce Morris – Appointed Director of Operations for FC Lighting
Bruce Morris, previously the Operations Manager for HazLoc Industries and Paramount Lighting, has been promoted to the position of Director or Operations for FC Lighting. Glenn Garbowicz commented, “We are excited to have Bruce directing our very complex fabrication and assembly operations at the St. Charles Illinois headquarters location. Our recent growth and the rapid expansion of our product lines present a challenging environment while simultaneously providing world class service to both our customers and sales team. Bruce is clearly the person who can make it happen!”
Bruce also has a 25+ year career in the lighting industry serving at Hubbell Lighting for many years. Most recently he was the Director of Brand development for Hubbell Lighting Control Solutions and previously was the Director of Marketing for Hubbell Building Automation and Senior Product Manager and Purchasing Manager for GAI-tronics.
