Customer Service Specialist – Nanometer Lighting

Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills, experience in the lighting industry and able to work in a team environment. You must be self-motivated and work collaboratively with the sales, marketing, engineering, and management teams.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct all business communications in a clear, concise professional manner always maintaining the best interest of the company.
• Process all incoming sales orders: verifying sell prices & commissions: informing any discrepancies & change orders when necessary, field acknowledgements
• Process sales order releases confirming no changes required follow process for all changes
• Enter end item part numbers and invoicing increments
• Quotations and technical support
• Coordinating submittal packages
• Provide: delivery, pricing, returns, technical support and project updates as needed
• Welcome/introductions to new agents
• Feed RCP’s per process/once approved advise team to release production BOM’s • Release to production team to process/enter BOM’s and manufacture
• Reach out to vendors for technical, pricing, delivery, part numbers etc.; work with internal team to communicate needs for purchase to purchasing team and support to the engineering & sales teams
• Work within the production structure to establish order priorities, changes, updates and scheduling of new work. Arrange for company deliveries and others as necessary
• Work with sales and marketing on new agents, training, new products, technical needs.
• Monitor and work with the team on any field issues and/or requirements
• Enter, process, update-monitor all appropriate activities in business tracking system: Smart Sheet

• Candidate will have a minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience in the lighting industry
• High school diploma or equivalent
