DLC’s Axel Pearson to Discuss New QLP for SSL, Horticultural Lighting, Networked Controls

NAILD Innovation 2019 Conference Educates Industry April 15-18 in Reno

PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J. — Feb. 25, 2019 – Axel Pearson, LC, technical manager at the DesignLights Consortium (DLC), will present at NAILD Innovation 2019 to help lighting industry professionals understand the DLC’s 2019 Qualified Products List (QPL), the National Association of Innovative Lighting Distributors (NAILD) announced today.

Pearson, who manages technical development of the DLC’s solid-state lighting program, will give details on Version 5.0 of the SSL QPL, the new Horticultural Lighting QPL, and Version 4.0 of the Networked Lighting Controls QPL.

NAILD Innovation 2019, “The Biggest Little Light Show,” will be held April 15-18, 2019 at the Nugget Casino Resort in Reno, Nevada. Pearson has worked in the lighting industry as a lighting auditor, utility program consultant, and with the DLC. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in environmental studies, a master’s degree in environmental management from the University of San Francisco and is Lighting Certified by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions.
