In an email sent to the industry today, Doug Avery announced his retirement from SCE effective 15 FEB 2013.
Specifically, he stated, “Without your support, contributions, and willingness to partner to move technology forward, the Office of the Future, the California Advanced Lighting Controls Training Program, the Sign Industry code work, Controllable ballasts Title 24 language, and the current National Advanced Lighting Controls and Application Certification (NALCAC) Program would never have been completed.”
