Today, Espen Technology has released a new line of field-adjustable output center basket troffer retrofit kits. The new line are part of the versaKITTM family of LED retrofit kits. Each troffer retrofit kit has a 3-position dip switch that enables installers to easily select a wattage and light output, for the kit, at the time of installation:
- 2000 / 2350 / 2750 lumens for the 2X2 kit, and
- 3625 / 4000 / 4500 lumens for the 2X4 kit.
According to John Clancy, SVP of Sales & Marketing at Espen, “The new 3-output center basket kits can reduce inventory stocking requirements for both electrical distributors and contractors.” Clancy added, “Retrofitting the existing troffer housing with Espen’s pre-assembled kit takes only a minute to install, saving labor costs, and the entire retrofit is done from below the ceiling.”
The new troffer retrofit kits have a popular center basket design. The kits come with installation brackets for quick and easy installation into existing fluorescent troffers, both 2X2 and 2X4. The new troffer versaKITs are offered in 3500K CCT, and a snap-in diffuser creates uniform end-to-end light distribution, without glare. Additional notable features include: 0-10V dimming driver with dim-to-off, DLC listing, UL listing, and a 5 year warranty.
