Today, Espen Technology announced the expansion of its Step-Down Transformer offering, for use with lighting. The non-isolated autotransformers can be used with LED, electronic ballast fluorescent, and HID lighting. The metal housings are low profile for easier fit into fixtures, walls, and plenums. The expanded line is thermally protected, with auto-reset, and UL-listed with a 105 degree max case temperature rating. Espen provides a 5 year warranty on the transformers.
The company now offers four models:
- 480V/347V down to 277V/240V, and 60VA
- 480V/347V down to 277V/240V, and 110VA
- 480V/347V down to 277V200V, and 250/180VA
- 480V/347V down to 277V/200V, and 375/270VA
