EdisonReport can confirm that George Stringer, the former VP of Sales for Soraa has left Soraa and created a new sales agency, The Lighting Group, based in Seattle. In addition, Mr. Stringer acquired Lighting Group Northwest, formerly the Hubble rep. At the same time, we learn that Acuity Brands has appointed The Lighting Group to represent Acuity in the Seattle and Western Washington territory. All transactions were finalized on 13 FEB.
