Hatch Lighting Expands its ELP Line

TAMPA, FL, (September 16, 2019) – Hatch Lighting expands its popular ELP Emergency Driver line to offer even more flexibility and energy efficiency to OEMs and distributors.

In March of this year Hatch introduced a single-piece emergency driver featuring new LiFePO4 battery technology. These CEC Title 20 compliant drivers have a wider output voltage range than their previous emergency drivers and reinforced Hatch’s dedication to energy efficiency.

Now, Hatch has released the same technology in a dual piece design in order to give manufacturers and installers flexible options for installation. Like the original design, these emergency drivers employ a smart charger for fast, damage-free charging of the batteries.

All LED emergency drivers in the Hatch line include a test switch with integrated charge indicator and are UL Listed for field or factory installation along with having Class 2 US rated outputs.

Hatch Emergency Drivers can be used in a wide variety of applications. For fixtures with LED light sources including troffers with UL Type C LED tubes, the driver can power the existing light source.

For non-LED fixtures and troffers that use UL Type A or Type B LED tubes, Hatch Emergency Drivers can be used in combination with the new emergency LED modules to provide an emergency lighting soultion on a non-LED fixture.
