Inventronics Announces Expansion of Global Manufacturing with Opening of New Manufacturing Facility in Mexico

Hangzhou, China – January 20, 2021 –   In response to the increasing demand and growth in LED lighting and the need to strategically provide manufacturing around the world, Inventronics, a leading provider of LED drivers, announced the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Guadalajara, Mexico. This opening exemplifies Inventronics commitment to developing a global operations footprint as a part of its on-going efforts to provide better regional support, increased flexibility and enhanced security of supply.

“We are excited about the opportunity to better serve new and existing customers”, says Marshall Miles, CEO of Inventronics. “This new facility, along with our new factory in India, is a cornerstone of our globalization plan.  We are working to create value for our customers by moving manufacturing closer to their factories and by establishing operational redundancy amid both geopolitical uncertainly and pandemic related challenges.”

This new facility adds to Inventronics’ existing manufacturing centers in China and India as well as its distribution hubs in the United States and Europe.  Throughout 2020, Inventronics continued to invest in its global manufacturing and distribution capabilities including upgrades and expansions in the Hangzhou, China manufacturing base and R&D center.

“I am very excited to be a part of this new Inventronics team,” said Uriel Carrillo, General Manager of Mexico Operations. “I believe we have a great business model and talented team to optimize Inventronics global position in this evolving industry. We are eager to provide a cost-optimized and time-savings solution to our customers and plan to continue building upon the high level of customer service and quality products our customers expect and deserve.”

Located in a modern industrial park near the airport, this new 91,000 square foot manufacturing and warehouse facility houses state of the art manufacturing lines with a high degree of automation.  With ample opportunity for growth and expansion, this factory will initially focus on Inventronics latest EUM and ESM series LED Drivers along with various other models popular in the Americas. This new venture is a unique facility that quickly created 105 manufacturing, engineering and administrative jobs and provides business to numerous local suppliers.

The Inventronics Mexico facility has achieved North America’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification through the U.S. Green Building Council for implementing practical and measurable strategies and solutions aimed at providing an environmentally and socially responsible location that improves the community.
