DES PLAINES, Ill. — Juno Lighting Group®, a leader in high-quality innovative commercial and residential lighting solutions, today announced the expansion of its popular 6-inch Juno® Generation 3 Retrofit LED Downlight and Eyeball Trim Modules to include a 900-lumen package and added Juno-exclusive WarmDim™ technology to the existing 600-lumen line. Featuring an all-in-one design, the 6-inch Juno Generation 3 Retrofit LED Downlight and Eyeball Trim Modules are known for providing contractors, architects, lighting specifiers and building owners with a simple and affordable all-in-one solution to upgrade existing recessed housings to ultra-efficient, energy saving LED illumination in commercial and residential applications.
Equipped with the same features as the 600-lumen version, the new 900-lumen J6RLG3 and J6RLEG3 series are suitable for applications with increased ceiling heights or for areas that require more light. Designed for high efficiency and low maintenance, the 900-lumen modules also provide users with superior performance comparable to a 75 watt PAR30 lamp while using less than 16 watts of energy, and a rated service life of 50,000 hours. The 900-lumen retrofit trims are available in both downlight and eyeball trim styles as well as multiple color temperatures, including 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4100K.
In addition, the Juno-exclusive WarmDim feature has been added to the 600-lumen line, which enables users to easily emulate the natural warmth and ambiance of incandescent dimming, taking the LED retrofit color temperature from the full lumen output of 3000K to 2000K – a task that was previously only achieved with incandescent light sources. Juno WarmDim also provides users with added energy efficiency, using just 14 watts – a fraction of the energy typically used by incandescents.
Additional features of the 6-inch Juno Generation 3 Retrofit LED Modules include:
- Simple installation: Designed for use in IC and non-IC construction, the modules install easily into Juno 6-inch standard and shallow medium base socket houses as well as other manufacturer s’ housings.
- Dimmable LED driver: Dedicated 120-volt driver dimmable with readily available incandescent, magnetic low voltage and electronic low voltage dimmers.
- Interchangeable trim inserts for downlight retrofit: Features a selection of baffle and cone trim inserts that can be easily changed in the field to customize the look of the downlight for a variety of applications.
- Eyeball retrofit adjustability and alternate beam spreads: The eyeball retrofit design offers 358 degree rotation and up to 30 degree adjustment. Supplied with wide-flood distribution as standard, the eyeball trim is also available in with medium-flood, narrow-flood and spot optics, and can be easily changed in the field.
