Huntley, Illinois June 19, 2013— Thomas Research Products has introduced a new line of 40W LED Drivers with line voltage dimming. Thomas Research Products is a leading manufacturer of SSL power solutions.
The new LED-40W-TL family of dimmable constant-current drivers is designed for simple dimming control of LEDs. The key unique feature of this series is that each unit is compatible with both leading edge (incandescent) and trailing edge (ELV) dimming. This provides ultimate line voltage dimming control flexibility. These drivers feature a <10% to 100% dimming range, and are compatible with industry-standard controls.
Five LED-40W-TL models offer different output currents. Input voltage is 120Vac. Plus 230Vac versions are available, making them applicable to markets outside North America.
TRP’s new drivers provide the features for which the company is known. The Black Magic Thermal Advantage(TM) plastic enclosures are IP66 rated–making them suitable for outdoor wet location applications. To keep luminaires performing, they offer over-voltage, over-current and short circuit protection. The drivers are UL Recognized for both US and Canada, and are CE certified.
All LED Drivers from TRP offer high quality, long life, high efficiency and are cost-competitive.
