The New York Auto Show has just announced cancellation of their 2021 show. Why is this important to the lighting industry? Because it was to be held at Javits Center 20-29 AUG and the show covers 1 million square feet. The theory was that once this huge behemoth of a show was held, smaller shows like LightFair would have no problem. The cancellation statement cited “increased measures announced recently by State and local officials” to protect the public from the coronavirus for the decision.
