Russ Cole, a leader in the lighting industry, and Cole Lighting mainstay passed away Nov. 11th, 2012 at the age of 97.
Born in 1915, he continued the C.W. Cole Lighting legacy started by his father, Clarence Cole in 1911. After graduating from college in 1938, he joined the company full-time in learning how to design and build custom lighting fixtures. Cole was called away to serve in the Coast Guard and Navy during World War II but returned after serving his country.
