The Opportunity

Our client is rapidly expanding in the USA and is on the hunt for their next sales star for the WEST COAST who will also oversee the sales team in the East Coast and Central regions. With the ability to provide customized and high-tech lighting solutions you will have the ability to make outdoor spaces beautiful & come to life at night, this is not your typical lighting sales role.

You will be targeting lighting designers and specifiers of façade and architectural lighting. You will conduct consultative conversations with both existing and potential agency partners while building relationships and expanding brand awareness to stimulate both specification and sales of this exciting lighting solution.

You will be working for a successful, well established employer with over $550 Million turnover. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales and managing a network of established agency partners, quotas and building a legacy for the territory.  A proven and accomplished track record in the lighting industry connecting with a similar client base, demonstrated innovation in your approach or you might be a lighting Engineer or lighting designer looking for a career change into sales.


  • Must live on the West Coast – LA/ San Diego area
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in facade or architectural lighting will be essential for success
  • A four-year college degree in Engineering or Business is desired, but not essential;
  • Knowledge of lighting and lighting controls (0-10, DMX);
  • Demonstrated success working from a home office;
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently;
  • Demonstrated executive level presentation skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
