Stan Neese, Rest In Peace

EdisonReport is sad to learn that our good friend Stan Neese has died. Stan was well thought of in the industry and worked at Universal Lighting, Sylvania, Venture Lighting and IR-Tec.  The industry has lost a very good man!

From:Kenneth Lancos, President at IR-TEC America

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing about the passing of Stan Neese. Stan passed away this morning after waging an epic battle against cancer. The entire time that Stan was fighting the disease he never stopped being filled with hope and determination. He fought right until the end to return to the things that he loved most.

Stan was more than an employee; he was a friend and confidant. He was a person who you could lean on for help when things seemed overwhelming. He always had a can-do attitude and a drive that was nonstop.

The world lost a bright star today. I will miss the morning calls with him and his always cheery southern drawl. I will miss his ten-page explanations when a single paragraph would have done it. I will miss his excitement when he closed a big deal. But, most of all I will miss his laugh.

Stan would not want us to linger very long in sadness. He would say there is no time for that, life is not stopping, and neither should we. While today I mourn the passing of my friend, each day moving forward I will honor his legacy, his drive, and his tenacity.

Now you can rest my friend. You fought well. You will be missed.

As more details on Stan’s celebration of life are available, we will post them.
