Espen Technology, the leader in TLED, Driver, Control and LED Retrofit solutions is looking to hire an experienced Product Manager at its headquarter in Santa Fe Springs, CA, to meet company’s fast-growing needs.
Candidate will report to Senior VP of Sales and Marketing.
Compensations include Salary, Bonus, Medical and 401k program.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify new market opportunities and applications leveraging company’s core competencies.
- Develop company’s Product strategies, Portfolio, and Product roadmap.
- Perform competitive analysis / benchmarking, product positioning nd prioritize product/customer requirements
- Partner with Engineering to refine product specifications early in the development process
- Coordinate with Engineering for new product roll-out activities, schedule and update and disseminate the status internally and externally.
- Supervise and ensure the product contents accuracy, update and adequate presentation.
- Working closely with the sales team; enabling with appropriate tools, materials.
- Formulate Product definition, features and benefits, differentiation
- Work with marketing ensure the accuracy of product in all product publications
- Enhance company presence at Trade shows/conventions, annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
- Partner with Marketing team to develop core product messaging and positioning
- Provide early product support and product training for Sales and Customer Service teams
- Support Marketing with the development of technical white papers, marketing materials; approve all sales, marketing and technical collateral
- Define product value propositions and link to improved sales and marketing tactics
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities and drive the execution of cost-down efforts
- Continuously monitor the portfolio and identify areas of improvement in product marketing tactics including product feature sets, pricing, distribution, sales incentives and service offering
Competencies:
- Must possess strong interpersonal, relationship-building, relationship management, and teamwork skills
- Must have outstanding oral, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Qualifications:
- BS in Electronic Engineering, MBA/BA is a plus
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a Product Management
- Industry experience in lighting is preferred
