On 19 AUG 2011, Cooper released a statement that Neil Schrimsher had left to explore other opportunities. EdisonReport first learned of his departure over the July 4th weekend when we were told Schrimsher cleaned out his office.

Readers may recall that on 9 MAY, 2006, EdisonReport broke the story that Neil Schrimsher had been named President of Cooper Lighting, replacing Dave Feldman. Several Cooper employees told us that they first learned of Schrimsher’s hiring from the EdisonReport.
