Summary
The newly created position of Marketing and Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying strategies to assist in the growth of the organization. Reporting to the President, the position is responsible for management and leadership of sales, marketing, new market development, social media, trade events and web management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages all sales functions for the company. Identify, select and manage sales representatives within lighting industry and manage performance and metrics.
- Increase market share with new and existing customers.
- Identify new market opportunities and customer intelligence information.
- Manage all aspects of trade shows, customer meetings and events for the company.
- Responsible for developing and implementing successful marketing programs and social media
to enhance organizations image and position within the lighting marketplace.
- Direct website management with outside agency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing.
- B2B sales and marketing experience.
- Strong record of success in sales management, marketing development and building strong customer relationships.
- Proven ability to implement dynamic marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Social media and web management experience.
- Experience within the lighting industry is preferred.
- Manufacturing experience and mechanical knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Action-oriented driven individual, creative thinker and self-starter
- Ability to travel (less than 25%).
