North East Ohio Lighting Manufacturer seeking a Quality Control Manger:
Duties include:
– Performs analytical/mechanical testing of incoming and in-process products
– Assure that materials and products are tested to applicable standards
– Assist in developing methods and procedures for material and product testing
– Interact with certification/testing groups such as UL and CSA
– Supervise and document all customer complaint issues and RGA’s
– Performs other duties as required
Education/Experience Requirements:
– Preferred Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technician
– 3 to 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
– Mechanical Blueprint reading skills
– Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams
– Ability to work with limited supervision
– Strong written and communication skills are required
– Knowledge of SQC – clean room experience a plus
– Experience with ISO, CSA, OSHA and EPA
