(San Francisco, CA – April 22, 2013) Lumenetix® announced today the introduction of a new araya® Color Tuning Module designed for 12VAC or DC operation in a 50mm package.
“The CTM12V extends Lumenetix’s award winning araya technology into new markets,” said Jim Kingman, President and CEO. “The sleek 50mm package is ideal for small aperture fixtures and the input voltage flexibility enables application in both indoor tracks and outdoor low voltage lighting, often eliminating the need for a local driver.”
The CTM 12V meets Zhaga footprint and mounting criteria and is available with 12mm and 22mm light emitting sources to enable the use of standard off-the-shelf optics. The ability to package so much capability in such a small form factor comes from leveraging a close working relationship with Philips Lumileds and utilizing the Philips Z LED color portfolio. Further, the Lumenetix proprietary light piping technology allows efficient mixing of five LED color strings to deliver very high quality tunable and dimmable light in a very small source size.
