Philips India, provider of lighting solutions is expanding its decorative lighting business by opening exclusive showrooms ‘light lounges’ across India. The company is focusing tier-II cities to push the sales. Philips is buoyant about its plans to consolidate its retail presence in West India by opening more Light Lounges and Light Shoppes (Shop-in-shops) in the coming months. Currently it has 86 Light Lounges in India, in addition to about 1,050 Light Shoppes in the country.
