 The Eastern Regional Sales Manager must be strategically located between New York and Boston.

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager in the Eastern region to lead direct and indirect selling and specification efforts for LSI Lighting to professional sales agencies, electrical distributors, consultants or end users by performing the duties below:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

’      Develop Professional Sales Agencies, in region, as an extension of direct selling approach. Lead agency selling efforts to required results.

’      Identify and establish strong working relationship with lighting designers, architects, and other purchase influencers, in region.

’      Prioritize regional activity to meet or exceed required sales & specification budget.

’      Travel throughout assigned territory to impact existing and prospective customers as required to support regional operating plan.

’      Display & demonstrate product, using samples, catalogs, or electronic presentations.  Emphasize unique LSI features, functions, benefits

’      Coordinate and stay apprised of territory quotes, prices, and credit terms provided centrally from LSI corporate. Frequently follow up on quotations to translates into orders

’      Prepare summary report of business transactions and keep expenses in accordance  with business policy, as well as current at all times

’      Attend / Participate in trade shows and other industry events are required from time-to-time.

’      Communicate in a positive, professional, clear and concise manner

’      Incorporate sales support team in project development.  Build positive relationships with peers and support team to enable maximum business result

Education and/or Experience

Earned 4 Year College Degree or ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred.

Other Qualifications

’      Comfortable making presentations to any audience.

’      Possess general knowledge about lighting and / or electrical products.

’      Comfortable making decisions while in the field.

Salary is commensurate with background, experience and education.  The position requires the applicant to be strategically located within the Eastern region.
