Alumage Advisors Reports 30-50% Price Reduction in LED High Bay Lighting

“In the sweet spot of 10,000-20,000 lumens where LED products are replacing 250-400 Watt HIDs, we are seeing up to a 50% reduction in LED high bay pricing compared to last year, including ~18% from Q2 to Q3’13”, according to Mike Gagnon, President of Alumage Advisors. 

“At 15,000 lumens, for example, the average price has decreased to just below $500; more importantly, we are also reporting a handful of 2^nd and 3^rd generation LED High Bay products approaching the 12-18 month payback tipping point, with promises of more to come.”
