Major Account Representative- 2 positions (South East Region and NYC Metro Area)

We have TWO positions available for the Major Account Representative.  One opening is located in the South East region and the ideal candidate should be living near a major market in the South East.  The other position is located in the Metro NYC/Eastern PA/NJ area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Encelium sales development and revenue attainment in the assigned region.
  • Develop and execute agreed upon sales plan to achieve established and measurable results.
  • Make sales calls to develop and maintain business relationships that facilitate the specification and deployment of the Encelium EMS system solution to the design community, end users, installers and value added resellers.
  • Manage new and existing manufacturer representatives and VARs including escorted sales calls, training, price negotiation, and system design.
  • Provide value added solutions to customers by working collaboratively with other organizational resources
  • Understand and keep abreast of all trends and market requirements
  • Time will be spent out of the office in face to face meetings. Travel required 

Requirements/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree Required, MBA a plus, and a minimum of 3 years experience within the lighting control industry
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience with emphasis in technology and sustainability
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills including fluent use of Microsoft office suite, CRM and custom software applications
  • LEED accredited, LC and/or PE considered a plus
  • Ideal candidate shall be highly motivated, possess creative problem solving skills and can demonstrate a proven track record of success in previous employment.
