Carey, NC to Install 8000 LED Luminaires

The town of Cary, North Carolina, already a leader in adopting energy efficient solid-state technology for streetlighting, has embarked on an ambitious plan to install 8,000 LED streetlights on municipal roadways. The project, done in partnership with energy provider Progress Energy, will replace the majority of the city’s streetlights with LED streetlight fixtures.
