New Lumenetix Interface for Direct Communication with the Lutron EcoSystem® Lighting Control System

(San Francisco, CA February 25, 2014) Lumenetix® announced today the introduction of a new interface which permits araya® color tuning modules to communicate directly with the Lutron EcoSystem® line of digitally-addressable lighting controls.

Lumenetix has worked together with Lutron to enable EcoSystem controls to directly address the araya line of color tuning modules, one of the first LED light engine modules with direct Lutron embedded EcoSystem compatibility.  Moreover, the capability to adjust both the dimming level and color temperatures of the araya light engine through the Lutron lighting control system is an industry first.  Luminaires with embedded araya light engines now feature the capability to manage color temperature and dimming with Lutron’s building level lighting system controls. Entire buildings can now be managed to maximize energy savings in addition to offering new features such as tracking circadian light temperatures throughout the day.

“We are very excited to be associated with the preeminent lighting control provider in the industry and bring this innovative new capability to our lighting fixture customers”, said Jim Kingman, President and CEO of Lumenetix.

“The addition of embedded EcoSystem compatibility will provide our lighting fixture customers a cost effective and flexible control package”, said Jeffrey Saake, Executive Vice President of Lumenetix.  “In addition to energy efficiency, the enhanced functionality of araya and EcoSystem will create more productive working environments and ‘light tailored’ living spaces throughout the world.”
