Heilux, LLC announced today that it is bringing to market its new lighting technology that surpasses anything else comparable on the market.  The light sheet panels are flexible, require no heat sink, UL recognized and RoHS compliant, offer the lowest voltage and LOWEST COST of any comparable product.  Plus, it is easily tiled together to almost any size or dimension by the user and carries a 5-year limited warrantee.

Heilux is part of a family of lighting companies and has been in the lighting business since 2001 offering a variety of lighting solutions to industry specific opportunities.  Starting in 2009, that knowledge of application driven knowhow was directed to LED lighting.

“We have been designing application driven solutions since 2001” said John T. Golle, Chairman and CEO of Heilux.  “We started with electroluminescent lighting (EL) products which are also flat, planar and flexible light emitters.  In that area alone, we hold over 20 patents for applications ranging from apparel to out of home advertising uses.  We have brought our knowhow, trade secrets and vast experience with planar lighting to the LED lighting arena.” 

Starting with applications where space is limited, Heilux developed a light emitter that can be placed very close to a diffuser thus allowing for even light emission from luminaires where in the past that was not possible such as parabolic troffers.  Since LumaFilm is light and requires no heat sink, it can be adhered to almost anything like cloth or cardboard as backers allowing for unique applications in a variety of markets.  And since it can be easily tiled together with quick connectors, very large ceiling luminaires of almost any size can be created that are thin, light weight and offer exceptional light emission.
