DES PLAINES, Ill. — June 4, 2014 — Juno Lighting Group®, a leader in high-quality innovative commercial and residential lighting solutions, today announced that its Aculux® 3 ¼-inch LED Precision Recessed Luminaires with black body dimming and tunable white technology were named the winner of the Recessed Downlights category in the 2014 LIGHTFAIR International Innovation Awards®. Three additional luminaires by Juno Lighting Group were also recognized in other categories, making Juno Lighting Group the only manufacturer among 130 entrants with four products placing in the top three among all of the categories being judged. Presented during LIGHTFAIR International, the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, Juno Lighting Group’s products were judged by an independent panel of judges and recognized for exemplifying innovation in product design over the past 12 months.

- Dynamic Color, Theatrical, Cove, Strips and Tape Category:
- Juno Trac 12 WarmDim and LED Color Modules: These dimmable track modules are offered in WarmDim versions that replicate incandescent dimming with three saturated colors and typical white color temperatures. Offering 90 CRI at full-on brightness and chromaticity within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse, they approximate the light output of 7 watt incandescent lamps yet use only 15 percent of the energy and have a rated life of 50,000 hours. The modules are available with rich blue, green or red color options and standard LEDs.
- Outdoor Luminaires – Sports, Step, Landscape, Pool and Fountain Category:
- AccuLite PL2 Series LED Bollards: Offering a sleek, modern design with a unique star shaped illumination pattern and 360-degree and 270-degree optical distributions, these fixtures give designers the flexibility to match project landscapes and are equipped with an optional internal motion sensor. These fixtures also received Best in Class honors in the 2013 Next Generation Luminaires™ Solid-State Lighting (SSL) competition administered by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
