AREA SALES REPRESENTATIVE FOR SOUTH FLORIDA REGION
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Dabmar Lighting has a career opportunity for a area sales representative in our South Florida Region.
The area sales representative will be responsible to build new relationships with distributors, sales growth and profitability through market development while providing superior service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with National VP to develop and recommend annual sales plan.
- Visit electrical and irrigation distributors throughout the South Florida Region.
- Coordinate with manufacturer representatives, distributors, etc., to promote and maintain successful and profitable business relationships with current and potential customers.
- Call on key end users and contractors with without agents to promote the company into progressive markets.
- Provide appropriate technical guidance and assistance regarding product and lighting applications.
- Responsible for ensuring reps, distributors and contractors are trained on the companies latest products.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of lighting or electrical sales experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Sales experience in lighting industry.
- Sales experience managing Manufacturer’s Representatives.
Position Criteria:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong professional presence and presentation skills
Location preferable: Miami or South Florida Region
Travel in Florida Region will include; Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Meyers, Daytona Beach, Florida Keys.
This is an outside sales position and requires full time travel in the region.
Compensation:
