We seek Regional Sales Managers in both the Ohio and Minneapolis/St. Paul areas.

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sell the economic, energy and environmental savings that Energy Focus and its products and services provide.
  • Source leads in order to expand the sales portfolio. 
  • Develop, foster, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with customers at the appropriate decision-making level.
  • Foster customer trust as an energy savings expert by selling the cost savings of Energy Focus’ solutions through the development of a project scope that reflects the customer return on investment (ROI).
  • Drive and manage a regional client base.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You have a proven track record of selling technology based products to the decision-making level of the company’s existing and potential customer base. 

You possess a strong business acumen and mathematical aptitude.  You’re a strong self-starter with the ability to assimilate and learn very efficiently and to focus successfully on multiple opportunities. 

Your sense of urgency and accountability is very high.  You are self-motivated.

You bring a common-sense approach, and an ease in identifying issues and suggesting practical solutions.  Your analytical skills and abilities are honed. 

You’re polite, confident, tactful, patience, and diplomatic.  Your interpersonal skills are respectable and your integrity is unwavering.

You are organized and you manage your time in a highly efficient manner.

You bring technical proficiency; intermediate experience using SalesForce.com; Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. 

Your professional presence and demeanor are polished.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years or more of related experience in same or similar industry.
  • Experience in selling to performance contracting companies, ESCO’s and lighting retrofit companies is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, business, or other related field is essential.
