Juno Lighting Group Donates Indy ChromaControl LED Downlights to Pavarini Design for Ronald McDonald House Long Island Remodeling Initiative

The fixtures are a part of Pavarini Design’s en suite bedroom that is intended to provide a soothing, healing environment for children undergoing medical treatments and their families

DES PLAINES, Ill. — Jan. 20, 2015 — Juno Lighting Group®, a leader in high-quality, commercial and residential lighting solutions, today announced that it has donated its Indy ChromaControl LED Downlights with color tuning and tunable white technology to New York-based Pavarini Design as part of the design firm’s involvement in phase two of Project Design with the Ronald McDonald House Long Island (RMH-LI). RMH-LI is located in New Hyde Park, New York, and is the 100th House of over 300 Ronald McDonald House programs worldwide intended to provide a “home-away-from-home” for families to stay close to their hospitalized child at little or no cost.

Led by the local interior design industry, Project Design is an initiative to remodel several areas of the RMH-LI such as existing bedrooms, common areas and kitchens, as well as create new spaces such as a fitness area and meditation room. In line with the mission of the RMH-LI, the project is intended to provide a more calm and restful healing environment for children undergoing medical treatment and their families.

As part of the project, Pavarini Design remodeled suite bedroom 404 for RMH-LI. The en suite bedroom was created with the theme, “Healing Through Color and Light,” and is intended to help families decompress and rejuvenate by incorporating the healing qualities of form, color and light. To further a chromatherapy design concept that Pavarini Design employed throughout the suite, the Indy ChromaControl LED downlights will provide color-changing effects on the mosaic tile bathroom mural and entrance foyer walls in the suite.

“We are honored to have the Indy ChromaControl LED downlights play a role in Project Design and support Pavarini Design in creating a soothing environment for the children and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Long Island,” said Jeff Spencer, director of product management and market development, Juno Lighting Group.
