GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
- Provide drafting and design support on lighting lay out projects.
- Assist engineers in basic to advanced designs and revisions, and make preliminary designs according to specifications receiving objectives and technical advice from supervisor or engineers using AutoCAD.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Provide support and drafting services to the Project Engineer, designer or customer.
- Familiar with industry drafting and design principles related to construction.
- Compile and compute a variety of engineering data.
- Set up project files, lay out drawings and perform drawing file maintenance.
- Develop 3D models and extraction for 2D drawing development.
MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree. 2-3 years’ experience with lighting design can also be substituted for education.
- Proficient in AutoCAD with one (1) to three (3) years of AutoCAD skills
- Proficient in Creo 2.0 with one (1) year of Creo skills
- Knowledge of Photopia and AGI32 Software a plus
