“We are pleased to announce the promotion of Keith T. S. Ward to Corporate Vice President and Managing Director of Future Lighting Solutions worldwide, reporting directly to Robert G Miller. Keith joined Future in August 2014 and will continue to be based in the US.
Keith brings an impressive executive leadership background of over 30 years in the lighting industry, having led several companies to achieve significant growth, efficiency, and financial results. His knowledge of the lighting manufacturing sector, experience with global distribution, and track record of leading businesses and teams in Europe, Asia, and the Americas will all be strategic advantages for Future Electronics and our aggressive growth goals in lighting.
Keith’s career began with General Electric Company where he spent 21 successful years managing different parts of GE’s Lighting business. More recently, Keith has held the roles of President & Chief Operating Officer of Iwasaki Electric Company (EYE Lighting International of North America), and President & Chief Executive Officer of Luminus Devices. For both of these companies, Keith implemented innovative strategic, operational, and manufacturing initiatives, which resulted in high growth and profitability.
Keith holds an M.B.A. in General Management from John Carroll University and a B.S.B.A. from Clarion University. In addition, he has had the distinction of sitting on several Boards of lighting companies and organizations such as the National Electrical Manufacturers Association Lighting Division Board of Directors, Electrical Manufacturers Council and was Chairman for NEMA’s enLIGHTen America task force.”
