L.A. Lighting is seeking a regional sales manager to work with and oversee company outside sales personnel in L.A. and Orange County.
Prerequisites for consideration:
- Minimum of 5 years within the lighting industry.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a sales team.
- Needs a working knowledge of Fluorescent and LED luminaires and components.
- Must have strong active relationships with specifiers, electrical distributors, electrical contractors and end users.
Job duties include:
- Will be expected to hire and train company sales staff.
- Work in conjunction with management to establish sales goals and standards for sales team.
- Will be responsible to evaluate the job performance of the sales team and its members.
- Will be responsible to perform job walks and energy audits.
- Must be able to select the proper luminaires for various job applications and tasks.
- Set up and attend trade shows.
