Westin Savannah Harbor Hotel
Savannah, GA
October 4–7, 2015

The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES) is pleased to announce the 34th Annual Street and Area Lighting Conference (SALC). The Conference provides industry professionals with a forum for an open exchange of information on a wide range of outdoor lighting issues such as products for specific application, lighting controls, benchmarks from other users in the lighting community, and milestones reached by municipalities, utilities and Departments of Transportation. The conference also offers educational opportunities that promote excellence in the street and area lighting industry.

Five full-day Lighting Courses devoted to calculation software, fundamentals, applications, controls, and LEDs will be held on Sunday, prior to the formal conference sessions.

A three day conference is planned (Monday to Wednesday). The General Sessions will be led by prominent industry professionals covering outdoor lighting topics including emerging technologies and industry trends; legislation and legal issues, maintenance, monitoring and management systems, lighting and health, and successful and operational case studies from some of the largest utilities in the country. Rounding out the presentations are networking breakout discussion groups, exhibits, luncheons, and evening events.

The full conference schedule and course offerings and registration can be found online at www.ies.org/salc. A mobile app to view the conference offerings is also available at https://ies2015streetandarealightingconf.sched.org/mobile.
