New TLED40W High-Performance LED Driver from Thomas Research Products

Elgin, Illinois September 15, 2015— Thomas Research Products has introduced the new TLED40W series LED Driver. This driver offers flicker-free operation and high-performance dimming. Thomas Research Products manufactures complete SSL power solutions. 

TRP’s new 700mA high performance constant-current driver provides flicker-free output. DC output is smooth and stable so LED lighting can provide the most comfortable user experience. Deep dimming, as low as 1% depending on the light engine utilized, allows the TLED40W driver to be used in a greater range of applications. This includes architectural and retail spaces.

The all-new design of the TLED40W series driver provides fully-isolated dimming with Class 2 wiring techniques. The dimming leads are completely unconnected from the AC input and DC output. This improves compatibility with a wider selection of controls. The dimming source current is under 500µA, which allows more drivers and fixtures on a single dimmer.

TRP’s new design is being introduced in the popular 40W format. Other current options will be coming to fill industry needs. These drivers are IP66, and come with the company’s standard 5 year warranty.
