Pioneering lamps and light engines using LEDs built from pure gallium nitride substrates (GaN on GaN), Soraa has made ordinary lighting extraordinarily brilliant and efficient. Soraa’s full spectrum GaN on GaN LED lamps and light engines have superior color rendering and beam characteristics compared to LEDs created from non-native substrates. Soraa is a pre-IPO venture funded company with major investments from Khosla Ventures, NEA and NGEN.
Soraa is looking for a Product management professional with expertise in commercial lighting product development. This person must have the ability to interface and effectively communicate with Soraa Engineering & Sales personnel, Independent Sales Channel Partners as well as Customers.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Drive new products from conception through successful manufacturing and launch.
- Formulate competitive analyses which include cost and performance modeling
- Assist in developing, defining and communicating light fixture MRDs
- Ascertain and analyze global lighting industry compliance standards
- Assist in developing sales & training collateral (ie datasheets, sell sheets, application guides, power points, webinars, sales training programs and customer presentations)
- Assist in developing MGPP (Multi Generation Product Plan)
- Assist with Tradeshows as required to keep current with market trends and customer feedback
- Assist in developing pricing strategies
- Interface with Product Design and Graphic design consultants
Requirements:
- BS degree in Marketing or related field
- At least 3 years in the Lighting Industry
