Award-Winning MX Family expands offerings delivering more lumens, greater efficacy and new design capabilities
Anaheim, CA, February 24, 2016- Intense Lighting, a Leviton Company, today announced multiple new enhancements to the MX family of downlights, recessed multiples and track lights. Featuring an all-new upgraded LED package, the award-winning MX product line now delivers over 100 lpw (lumens per watt), along with impressive new lumen packages that offer as much as 50% more lumens. In its miniature form factor, MX now offers a variety of output options delivering over 1850lm (26W) allowing MX to be an ideal LED alternative to MR16 halogen and 20/39W ceramic metal halide. Ideal for accent lighting, the MX 12-degree spot optic now achieves up-to 24,000 CBCP (center beam candle power).
The MX Downlight now features a remodel construction option and all-new architectural trim finishes. The highly anticipated 3.5” remodel downlight is ideal for any existing ceiling plan. It effortlessly replaces existing recessed lighting and features accessible swing-out hardware from below the ceiling line for ease of installation. Available in round or square and trim or trimless, the MX downlight now offers a wide collection of architectural specialty trims in a variety of specification-grade finishes including Antique Bronze, Satin Nickel and Wheat. Modular feature set includes field-changeable optics and field serviceable LED’s and drivers.
