Cordelia Lighting, a rapidly growing lighting manufacturer, currently has an exciting career opportunity for a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our engineering team.

Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development of and final testing of new lighting fixtures.
- Performs in-house testing of new lighting fixtures using testing and measuring equipment.
- Monitors project status and estimated time of completion of light fixtures being tested and documents testing methods and results.
- Advises and makes recommendations on required revisions to products in order to comply with UL standards.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent and a minimum five years technical support experience.
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Working knowledge of Underwriters Laboratory (UL) standards and procedures for lighting fixtures.
- Working knowledge of Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standards and procedures for lighting fixtures.
- Working knowledge of the lighting industry standards, terminology and products.
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of basic engineering and mathematical principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communications skills both verbal and written.
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Internet, and Email.
