New York, NY (July 6, 2016) LD+A Magazine is the recipient of the 2016 EXCEL Gold Award for General Excellence (10,000 or fewer circulation) from Association Media & Publishing (AM&P). Paul Tarricone, Publisher and Editor of LD+A, received the award at the 36th Annual EXCEL Awards Gala on June 27, 2016 in Washington, DC.
“The AM&P Awards are perhaps the most prestigious in the association publishing world, so we’re particularly honored to be recognized with a Gold Award this year,” said Paul Tarricone. “As is always the case with this type of achievement, the award is a testament to our editors on staff, our expert contributors from the lighting industry and Society, and our art directors. It was a true team effort.”
The EXCEL Awards is the largest and most prestigious award program that exclusively recognizes excellence and leadership in nonprofit association media, publishing, marketing, and communications. In all, 226 awards were presented this year in categories ranging from magazines to electronic books: 53 gold, 77 silver and 96 bronze. A list of the winners by category is available online.
