MaxLite Announces 10-year Warranty for Hazardous Location Fixtures

WEST CALDWELL, N.J. (August 23, 2016) – MaxLite, a leading global provider of energy efficient lighting solutions, proudly introduces a 10-year limited warranty on select LED Hazardous Location Fixtures (HLRMax) for Class I, Division 2 and Class II, Division 2 spaces.

The extended warranty applies to 140-watt and 170-watt models. Delivering an exceptional 111 lumens per watt, HLRMax luminaires are certified for use in a wide range of indoor and outdoor hazardous areas, including oil and gas platforms, chemical plants, utilities and military facilities. With eight mounting options and four lumen packages, the HLRMax is a versatile choice to replace 175-watt to 400-watt high-intensity discharge and pulse start metal halide fixtures in area, high bay and flood lighting applications. Its rugged yet lightweight design will match incumbent luminaires, providing a flexible retrofit solution that consumes 50 percent less energy and operates twice as long as conventional light sources.

A full range of mounting accessories is available to ease installation of the HLRMax in ceiling, pendant, wall or surface applications. Built to resist corrosion, vibration, moisture and dirt, the marine-grade fixtures are constructed with a durable die cast aluminum housing and full module heat sink that ensure reliable performance and longevity. The fixtures operate on 120-277V and 347-480V inputs, and feature integral 15kV surge suppression protection. Temperature class ratings vary by power level, with some models certified for use in T5 environments.
