NOT YOUR FATHER’S LIGHTING SYSTEM!!! NOT YOUR FATHER’S LIGHTING SHOW!!!

THE new axiom in the rapidly changing world of electric lighting is “System Integration.” In the past, all the different parts of an architectural lighting system – fixtures, lamps, power supplies, controls, emergency lighting, motorization  – were supplied by separate manufacturers, and needed to be coordinated together by the lighting designer and engineer, often with mixed results. Where today and tomorrow’s lighting world is heading though, is to have all these functions brought together in a single product, which greatly increases the capabilities and success of all these critical parts.

Such advances – and so much more – will be on display at Enterprise Lighting’s EXPO 2016, on November 16th and 17th at the Met Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street.  Lighting designers, architects, interior designers, engineers and end-users will have the opportunity to see and touch the most sophisticated of such innovative products, AND, equally important, to speak at length with the manufacturers themselves who can educate them on how to take advantage of what these new systems have to offer.

The greatest challenge facing the lighting industry today is how to meet civilization’s constantly growing and changing need for better lighting solutions, while using less and less of our precious natural resources to power them. ELS EXPO 2016 offers an excellent opportunity to see and learn how this can best be accomplished, presented in an atmosphere of good food, good drink and good fun.
