OAKLAND, N.J. — – Amerlux® CEO/President Chuck Campagna announces the appointment of Gary Harvey to Director of Project Management, a newly created position. Mr. Harvey will be responsible for overseeing the details and specifications for all fixtures specified for major rollouts, custom and/or highly technical projects to assure accuracy and understanding in both the field and within Amerlux. Amerlux is an innovative manufacturer of energy efficient lighting solutions for the retail, supermarket, hospitality, commercial and exterior lighting market segments.
“With over two decades of industry experience, Gary is a top-flight executive who is perfect for managing the many details of large, high profile projects,” said Amerlux CEO/President Chuck Campagna. “He will work closely with our agents, specifiers, contractors and end-users and assist with the lighting design, technical assistance and due diligence needed for our fixtures to meet large job requirements.”
From renderings through specification and delivery, Mr. Harvey will ensure that the fixtures are produced to meet optimal design and performance requirements, shipping deadlines, and compliance with energy codes, industry listings and regulations. He will also oversee that the fixtures match all of the lighting needs of the designers, architects and end-users including finishes, wattage, quantity, CRI, CCT, application type and more.
Mr. Harvey will work closely with sales representatives, engineers, production personnel and customers. He will report directly to Bill Plageman, Vice President of Marketing.
Most recently Mr. Harvey served as Senior Product Manager for Exterior Lighting for Amerlux. Prior to joining the company, he served as Director of Product Management for Lighting Science Group Corporation and Global Product Marketing Manager for Philips Electronics and Philips Lighting.
